IELTS Insights – Writing – Post 14 – Viết như thế nào để được 7.5?

Không phải cố gắng ‘nhét’ vào những Từ vựng/ Cấu trúc ‘khủng’; ở post này, mình (Writing 8.5) sẽ phân tích bài viết của một chị học viên online lớp Advanced. Bạn sẽ hình dung một bài viết 7.0+ là như thế nào.

Trước tiên, mình khuyên bạn xem qua phân tích bài viết đã đạt 7.0 trong kỳ thi thật của một học viên IELTS Insights ở đây.

Với bài này, đây là những yếu tố giúp đạt 7.5:

• Về cơ bản, ngữ pháp được dùng hoàn toàn chính xác, hầu như không mắc lỗi sai nào. Xét xa hơn, cấu trúc cho mỗi câu được thay đổi đa dạng; các câu phức được đưa ra với lựa chọn thông minh. Ý được trình bày một cách thu hút. Tuy nhiên, vẫn rõ ràng, mạch lạc, mà không có câu nào khó hiểu. Mỗi câu đều giúp phát triển câu trả lời và chứng minh tốt quan điểm cá nhân.

• Tương tự bài 7.0, bài này sử dụng từ vựng đơn giản đến lạ vừa phải. Số từ không phù hợp chiếm dưới 5%. Nhưng điểm nổi bật hơn là sự kết hợp khôn khéo giữa các từ. Điều này giúp tạo nên những phrases và collocations tốt. Ngoài đó ra là hàng loạt các từ/ cụm từ paraphrase liên tục các từ vựng chủ đề đưa ra. Không cần những từ ‘khủng’ hay ‘hoa mỹ’ mà đôi khi mang đến nhiều hại hơn là lợi.

• Ngoài ra, còn vài yếu tố tiềm ẩn đáng cân nhắc cho mức điểm advanced. Thường người đọc thông thường khó nhận ra chúng. Đó là kỹ năng paragraphing, cách người viết hướng đến và bám sát mọi chi tiết của đề bài. Và cách tổ chức câu trả lời chung một cách nhất quán.

Kết luận

Nếu bài phân tích trước giúp bạn hình dung được cách viết một bài 6.5. Mình hy vọng bài này giúp bạn hiểu được những tính chất của một bài 7.0+. Mình biết nhiều bạn học viên cũng như không phải học viên của IELTS Insights thực sự cần điểm thành phần Writing 7.0. Nhưng tuyệt vọng để đạt được. Hy vọng bài này sẽ mang đến cho bạn cái nhìn và hướng luyện tập đúng đắn hơn về mức điểm advanced cho kỹ năng này nhé.

P.S. Kết quả trên mình nhận một phần công sức hướng dẫn. Còn lại là nhờ sự cẩn thận làm đúng phương pháp và nền tảng tiếng Anh tốt của học viên.
